How to keep the KIT-EB-522-V2 in a normally locked state

Background:


In many scenarios, for the safety of the property, customers need the washroom door to remain in a normally locked state. The door can only be opened when permission is granted, allowing normal washroom use. After the washroom has been used, it can be restored to the normally locked state again.

Therefore, if you have this requirement, you can follow the wiring and configuration guide below to complete the setup.

Prerequisites :

  • The electric lock and the washroom control board also need to be set to fail secure. (By default, the washroom control board is in fail safe mode, and the jumper needs to be adjusted to fail secure.) 

Physical Setup

1. We have two methods, but the principle is the same: one is to directly control the power supply to the control board, and the other is to directly control the lock.

2. Connect the NO and COM of Relay A into the above circuit, and keep the DIP switch set to L (Keeping).
