# How to fix P2P stop working issue

#### Description:

This guide applies to some new products. If P2P shows as online, but you are unable to add devices to DMSS or SmartPSS Lite, you can try the following methods to resolve the issue.

1. Go to main menu---system---security---system security

Make sure the private protocol is in the enabled state.
