### **Caution**

- The drawing technic is someone or vehicles exit the rule (consider the square is on the floor)
- For IP camera added to analog recorder, can support AI function on both recorder and camera.
- For analog camera added to analog recorder, can only support AI function on the recorder
- Cannot schedule Face Detection, PD & VD, Perimeter Intrusion, Object Detection, Cross Counting and Crowd Density at the same time

## **Step by Step instructions**

### **Web**

1. Go to setting----AI----Setup----Region Exiting

1. Select the channel you want for Region Exiting
2. Enable
3. Select the Detection Target you prefer
4. You may setup multiple rules; for example, Rule Number 1, 2, 3 etc
5. Draw the rule directly on the footage
6. Make sure you enable the Rule
7. Click Save after you done all the configurations
8. Alarm setting for AI function

1. Go to Setup----AI----Alarm
2. Select Region Exiting
3. Select the channel you enabled previously
4. Enable any extra alarm you prefer
5. Click Save
6. Detail about extra alarm settings

- Buzzer: beeping sound on the recorder
- Send Email: you need to setup your email under Network----Email
- Show Message: when event detected, it will popup a small message window on the screen
- Full Screen: when event detected, it will turn the live view to one single full screen
- Event Push Platform: you need to setup the platform under Network----Platform Access
- FTP related: you need to setup your FTP server under Storage----FTP
- Cloud related: you need to setup your cloud server under Storage----Cloud
- You may use the Copy to copy all the parameters to different channels
- Voice Prompts: another alarm output, please see the setting under Alarm----Voice Prompts

### **Local**

1. Go to Setup----AI----Detection Setup---- Region Exiting

1. Check Switch to enable first and click Setup
2. In Setup

1. Select the channel you want for Region Exiting function.
2. Select the Detection Target you prefer
3. You may setup multiple rules for example Rule Number 1, 2, 3 etc
4. Draw the rule directly on the footage
5. Make sure you enable the Rule
6. Click Save after you done all the configurations
7. Alarm setting for AI function

1. Go to Setup----AI----Alarm----Region Exiting
2. Check any extra alarm you prefer

4. Click Apply
