# How to upgrade Dahua IP cameras by NVR/XVR from Remote?

Introduction This guide will show you how to update IPC firmware from a PC remotly.

Prerequestites

1. SmartPSS software
2. Target Device have been added.

Step1 Open SmartPSS -> Device Config ->Link to Web

Step2 Login to Recorder on Web

Step 3. Setting->Camera-> Update, choose firmware file and click online update.
