# How to Setup Tripwire/Intrusion in XVR-I?

1. Select <B>Main Menu > AI > Parameters > IVS.</b>

2. Select the Channel number to configure from the **Channel** list

3. Click Add. A new line of rule will be created.

4. Select the **Type** on the rule line.

6. Click and Drag to draw the tripwire/instrusion.

 7. Click **OK** to save the settings.

8. Click ![image.png](https://cdn.document360.io/698fbf35-46b1-42c8-9a01-0506761ce4e8/Images/Documentation/image%28416%29.png)  to set the actions to be triggered.

 9. Click **OK** to save the settings.

 10. Select the **Enable** check box.

11. Click **Apply**.
