# How to Initialize the Door Operator

### Description:

This section provides a step-by-step guide for initializing the **ADC-AI-S300** automatic door operator.

**Note:**Please be aware that the initialization process for the ADC-AI-S300 differs from that of Ditec door operators. To ensure proper calibration and avoid parameter misalignment, kindly follow the installation instructions for the ADC-AI-S300 model.

### Operator Initialize Programing

**Install the operator** following the installation instructions.

1. **Ensure the door is fully closed**, and that the doorway is clear of all obstacles.
2. **Turn the power ON.**  
The screen will display two options, as shown in the image below:

3. **Press the "ACT" button.**

The door will perform two automatic self-learning cycles:

- Cycle 1: The operator learns the door position (open/close limits).
- Cycle 2: The operator calibrates the opening and closing speeds.

4. Upon successful completion, the screen will display: **“DOOR CLOSED”**, indicating the operator is ready for normal use.
