Operation Procedure

In web portal

For VDP-AK-29RC

1. Go to Intercom > Face Setting > Face Basic, tickle the box next to Facial Recognition Enabled, and set up other settings such as matching level and recognition intervals based on your need. Click Submit.
2. Go to Intercom > User
   2.1 Add face data for an existing user

• Click Edit button on the right side to enter the user information page
• Click Select File to upload the user’s face photo, then the Status will be changed from Unregistered to Registered.
• Click Submit to validate the configuration.

2.2 Set up face recognition for a new user

• Click Add button in the upper right corner.
• Enter User ID and Name.
• Click Select File to upload the user’s face photo, then the Status will be changed from Unregistered to Registered.
• Click Submit.

For VDP-AK-916XS

1. Go to Intercom > Face > Face Basic, enable Facial Recognition, and set up other settings such as recognize option and recognition intervals based on your need.
2. Scroll down the page to Face Import/Export field, click Select File and then Import button to upload a tgz file containing face data.
3. Click Submit.
