# How to connect NVR by RTSP

This article will tell you how to connect NVR by RTSP.

### Operation Procedure

1. Open network stream under media in VCL media player, paste the above rtsp and click play.

1. The video from NVR will be shown from the start in VCL.

| Note: The above RTSP is an example only. Please use your own IP address, port, channel ID and the actual date and time to make rts. Then follow the above steps. |

IP address and port can be obtained in ‘TCP/IP’ and ‘Port’ under Network section as below:
