      How to Configure DND in Door Phone

      DND (Do not disturb) setting allows you not to be disturbed by any unwanted incoming calls. There are some specific scenarios, like emergency station which forbid incoming calls but enable dialing out SIP calls need such kind of feature.

      Before start

    • The following are the doorphones that support DND configuration: VDP-AK-916XS.
    • There are two kinds of DND, one is DND in device, another is DND in SIP server.
        DND in device: It is a feature only for the device. When enable, the device can ignore any incoming direct IP/ SIP calls.
        DND in SIP server:It is a feature only for a SIP account. When enable, the device which is register the SIP account can ignore any incoming SIP calls.

      When multiple accounts are registered, DND can be active for only one of the accounts and does not affect the incoming calls of the other accounts.

      Operation Procedure

      Configure DND in VDP-AK-916XS
      Go to Phone-Call Feature-DND to configure.

      It should be noted that the DND On/Off Code entered here should be the same as those on the server.
