Direct IP call is used for dialing out calls by entering other phones' IP addresses which users do not need to install extra SIP servers. IP direct call is more suitable for those scenarios in the same LAN network which can not only be install easily and guarantee call quality but also reduce the cost of a SIP PBX.

Before Start

• Before dial a direct IP call out:
  1. Users need to know other phones' IP addresses.
  2. Devices should all be in the same local network.
• All AiBase Smart Building Intercoms and Phones support IP direct call.

Operation Procedure

For devices with touch screen -VDP-AK-916XS, VDP-AK-29RC:

In dial interface, users can press the device’ IP address in touch screen to dial out. For example, users can press the indoor monitor IP address 192 * 168 * 16 * 220 and press dial key to call to device with IP address 192.168.16.220. ( " * " is used as “.” )

For devices with multiple numeric keyboard – VDP-AK-28RA:

Users can press the indoor monitor’ IP address in numeric keyboard to dial out. For example, users can press 192 * 168 * 35 * 7 and press dial key to call to device with IP address 192.168.35.7.(“*” is used as “.” )

After configuring, users can press push button to call a device or multiple devices at the same time.
