# How to adjust Encode/Resolution setting on Eyeonet DVR/NVR?

1. Go to [Setting]>[Main menu]
2. Choose the subtitle [Encode Parameters] under [Record] ![image.png](https://cdn.document360.io/698fbf35-46b1-42c8-9a01-0506761ce4e8/Images/Documentation/image-Y0YWOD7P.png)
3. Then you are able to see the Encode settings (Encode, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, etc.), there are two categories for the Encode setting, [Event Recording Settings] is for motion recording and [Schedule Recording Settings] is for continuous recording ![image.png](https://cdn.document360.io/698fbf35-46b1-42c8-9a01-0506761ce4e8/Images/Documentation/image-7MTBYQ97.png)
4. You can also set up the sub-stream encode parameters under [Sub Stream Settings]

1. Click on [Apply] to save the settings
