# Format harddrive instruction

## Description

> **This article is the instruction of how to format the hard drive from the recorder**

          Prerequisite

          

Recorder model: All Aibase color recorder

## Step by Step instruction

You can login to the NVR through web UI to format the hard drive. Go to Remote Setting --> Storage --> Disk, Select the hard drive, which you want to format then hit the Format Hard Dick button.
