# AiBase new XVR/NVR Password Reset

Description This guide will show the basic method of password reset for XVR/NVR on new UI.

Step1 Hit Forget Password on login page

Step2 Hit Next on Collect Unit Information

Step3 Scan QR code using DMSS app---me---tool manager---Device Password Management (optional)Send codes to "support_gpwd@htmicrochip.com"

Step4 Input the replied Security Code to reset.
